Oracle brings Exalogic Elastic Cloud T3-1B, which presents the latest model of performance, scalability and best availability for Solaris SPARC servers in the Oracle system Exalogic Elastic Cloud.

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud is designed for processing large-scale and important tasks. This device is an invention by hardware and software systems that have been tested and configured by Oracle to run Java applications and non-Java with extreme performance.

"Oracle is the only vendor that can provide the system hardware and complete software that is optimized for Java performance and is designed to support Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Aplications portfolio. With Solaris SPARC model of Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, customers who have a standard on Solaris SPARC can easily obtain huge profits from Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud and consolidate their data centers, while increasing investment and expertise that exist," said Hasan Rizvi, senior vice president, Oracle Fusion Middleware, in his statement on Tuesday (12/21/2010).

According to Hasan, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud T3-1B combines the reliability of SPARC servers running Oracle in Solaris 11 Express with the composition of the structure of I / O-based InfiniBand, Oracle WebLogic Server and other Oracle products that enterprise middleware based on Java.

"Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud can support thousands of non-Java applications and Java with a variety of system security, reliability and performance requirements. Excellence makes Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud became an ideal platform for the entire company's data center consolidation. This, combined with support for multi- Tenancy enterprise-class and ability to meet the requirements of the highest level of service in the world, making it the best cloud computing platform," he explained.

The new model Exalogic Elastic Cloud T3-1B running Oracle Solaris is a system that is optimal for running multi-threaded applications. This allows customers to obtain maximum performance improvement when running multi-threaded software such as WebLogic Server Oracle Java.

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud T3-1B also provides in-depth analysis about the hardware and help detect possible hardware failure. This can happen thanks to the integration of T-Series SPARC servers running Solaris Oracle with Oracle features such as Solaris Predictive Self Healing.

Customers can further reduce unplanned downtime by using Oracle Solaris SMF (Service Management Framework) in Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud to automatically restart the troubled software components.

With Oracle Solaris Zones, the various processes of different Oracle WebLogic Server and other components of Oracle Fusion Middleware can efficiently and safely isolated into different virtual environments to achieve optimal use of hardware. Oracle Solaris Zones can also be moved between physical servers securely and efficiently.

Customers can consolidate existing applications on Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud by utilizing an integrated feature of Oracle Solaris 10 Zones, enabling application environments to be moved to virtual environments Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud without needing modification.

"Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud improve the performance of all server products based on Oracle Fusion Middleware Oracle WebLogic Server. This machine is also optimized for integration with Oracle Database 11g, Oracle Real Application Clusters and Oracle Exadata Database Machine," he said.
