LG is somewhat less diligent in releasing Android phones. Not without reason, the Korean handset manufacturer is apparently still looking for the right time to mobilize all the champion.

However, it does not mean it makes LG stops refreshing its product line. Their latest flagship is Optimus One. What are the capabilities?

Steady grip
LG Optimus OneOptimus Form One is not much different from its predecessor, elegant with minimalist buttons. This phone brings measuring 3.2 inch screen capable of displaying resolutions up to 320 X 480 pixels. This means users will get a fairly sharp image.

Acer Aspire One Happy Review : Netbook with Dual boot Android and Windows 7

This is the Acer Aspire One Happy, netbook "happy" because it has dual boot, or the ability to choose the operating system to use.

When switched on, in fact, the charge Apiro One Android, an operating system from the cell has infiltrated into many types of devices such as tablet, the PMP and even in the hybrid tablet / e-book reader Adam Notion Ink.

With Android the Aspire One will start in seconds and offers all the features that can be used. For those still not familiar with Android, Google's operating system is very similar to that of a PC to function.

In addition to mail and browser to surf the internet, in fact, you can download applications to create text documents and even simple photo and video editing programs, in addition to various applications like Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter and more.

Compared to mobile phones, the advantage of Android netbook keyboard is more comfortable than that of mobile phones for long texts. To use the software running under Windows, simply click on the left corner of the screen and it will launch Windows 7.

Android is Windows run well on hardware that the model sold in Italy (Atom N450 1.6 GHz, 250 GB hard drive, Bluetooth, 1 GB of RAM) and, especially for Windows, the experience is similar to that of notebooks.

Multitasking applications running well at the same time allowing us to open the browser with a dozen cards, one or two programs of the Office Suite 2010 (included free), chat programs like Messenger and Skype and the image viewer.

Of course, switching from one window to another requires a fraction of a second longer, and sometimes we have to endure some delays (especially in the situation described above if you open pages with a lot of content in flash) but all in bear.

We also tried to upload some image editing program and even in this case, the Aspire One managed to impress. For traditional operations such as resizing and some graphic effect there were no problems and even video editing (standard resolution) went smoothly.

Given the excellent performance of this configuration, the version with Dual Core Atom N550 could also handle HD video editing.

We find the connections between WiFi and Bluetooth, while on the side of the body parade 3 USB ports, ethernet port and memory card reader.

As for the WiFi and Bluetooth radio is missing the classic physical key to turn them off, forcing us to adjust everything by a function key on a PC, not a serious thing but now we had become accustomed to the physical switch.

It should be about what the line is cleaner. Beautiful shiny plastic covers available in various colors, but if you look for a netbook you should speak to the elegant elsewhere. The Aspire One is nice to see but the white plastic base and screen frame is a bit 'Spartan.

Beautiful to see, instead, the screen 10-inch LED-backlit who unfortunately has the usual resolution of 1024 × 600, a bit 'castrating for web browsing as it forces often use the mouse wheel.

The brightness and contrast are still good and also allow us to use the open without problems. In the average netbook (translated: Scarsini) the built-in speakers in the case. In this regard, counsel for those who want to see a movie or listen to music, one of the soundbar to the clip as a Philips or Logitech proposed (reviewed here).

Moving on to the keyboard and can not complain, especially if you are coming from the PC desktop, after a period necessary to take measurements of the keys closer to each other, you can write with my eyes closed and speed. Convenient multi-gesture touch pad that allows you to zoom in and is nearly invisible (if not for the bar with the left and right mouse button) on the case.

Summing up, the Acer Aspire One Happy is definitely a netbook that could add as a feature almost unique Android operating system for which he is productive in a few seconds, which is very handy when you travel frequently and you have a piece of time at the airport to example.

The battery, along with low-power processor, was able to pull up to 8 hours, allowing us to have autonomy, even if sometimes we forget to upload

Despite this performance is remarkable and this also allows you to upload a few games (WOW runs fine for example) and do light editing. The weight and size also saves space in the suitcase, especially in those small for check-in baggage (in particular, low cost airlines, which allow one piece of luggage), it's all to the good .

Weaknesses? Well, as I said the design, although beautiful and colorful, can not be regarded as elegant as some competitive products and push the version with Atom N550 could be interesting.

The company NEC has already launched the tablet in Japan, at least for the time being, but also reveal something interesting for the rest of the market CES 2011 event in Las Vegas. To be precise, it will introduce the tablet NEC Dual Screen Cloud Communicator, a terminal operating system Android, two 7-inch display, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS and is compatible with the use of a stylus as an alternative to the fingers.

NEC has not yet revealed how exactly the two screens, but it seems that the tablet is capable of running applications separate and distinct on each screen simultaneously, going to trace the concept Courier Microsoft that you can see in the opening. At the software level do not know much, not even the version of Android that will be used, but hopefully this is Honeycomb, or at least Gingerbread.

The company will also show a single-screen version of the tablet with a camera, as well as a netbook with Android operating system. It will be rather curious to discover the design of the dual-screen tablet, to understand how to handle two displays on a device that should be easy to use and transport, and not too thick and heavy. We'll see.
